KBO Youth Baseball Scholar-Athlete of the Year for 2023

 The Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) held the 2023 KBO Youth Baseball Scholarship Award Ceremony at the KBO Conference Room at 5 p.m. on March 23.

The KBO Youth Baseball Scholarship Program has been in place since 2018 as a way for the league to give back to society and share the love it receives from its fans, and to help aspiring baseball players achieve their dreams of playing baseball with pride and confidence. 

Over the six years of the program, a total of eight players, including two first-round draft picks and one first-round pick, have been drafted into the professional baseball league through the KBO Youth Baseball Scholarship Program. 먹튀검증

This year, a total of 117 students applied for baseball scholarships, and the recipients were selected through a screening process: four Little League players, four elementary school students, 28 middle school students, and 14 high school students. The KBO will provide the selected players with monthly scholarships of 200,000 won for Little League and elementary school students, 400,000 won for middle school students, and 500,000 won for high school students, for a total of 237.6 million won per year.

"As a national sport that gives hope and dreams to its fans, the KBO League will take the lead in various social contribution projects that can enhance social value," said KBO President Heo Koo-yeon.
