How long will it take to catch up to the Manchester United legend's great feat: 'EPL's most decorated champion'?

 The soccer statistics site skores today highlighted the number of English Premier League (EPL) titles won by managers since 1992.


"How long will it take for Pep Guardiola to follow Sir Alex Ferguson?" the site asked, shedding light on the rivalry.


City defeated Chelsea 1-0 in the 37th round of the 2022/23 EPL on Nov. 22 at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, England.


City had already clinched the EPL title this season when Arsenal fell to Nottingham Forest in the previous match.


It was City's ninth EPL title. They have won the title five times in the last six seasons.


Guardiola's five EPL titles also put him in second place among all-time managers.


At No. 1 is the impregnable four-dimensional wall itself. It's Sir Ferguson, who led Manchester United to glory.


Ferguson won 13 EPL trophies during his time with United.


Meanwhile, with City winning the EPL title, all eyes are on them to complete the trifecta.


City also has a shot at the FA Cup. They'll meet Manchester United in the final for the trophy.
